The Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created to support the CAIC, while contributing to avalanche awareness and education throughout the State of Colorado.
As more and more people venture into the Colorado backcountry, it is imperative that we continue to support avalanche forecasting, education and awareness. We achieve this mission by obtaining donations and grants and by hosting fundraising events.
